For those of you who couldn't make it to Strictly Sail Miami for the launch of Beneteau's newest addition in the Oceanis range, we missed your company at the celebration on Valentine's Day. It was exciting to see many loyal Beneteau owners at the event, and it was even more rewarding to hear all the positive feedback following the tours. We received magnificent news during the show when the NMMA announced the Oceanis 55 earned the 2013 Consumer Choice Award for Best Monohull Over 30 feet. Thanks to all who turned out to see the Oceanis 55 and to those who voted for her.

The editors at Boating Magazine wanted their readers to fully understand and appreciate the importance of a survey when buying or assessing the value of a boat. To demonstrate just how powerful and revealing a survey can be, they used our Swift 34, The Greatest Loop, to illustrate. They performed an initial survey of the new boat and another after her more than 5,000 nautical mile journey around North America's Great Loop this past summer. It's All Good!

Well, we think so and that's why "Tutto Bene," an Italian expression meaning ‘everything is good' was selected as the winner of last month's naming contest for the First 35 participating in the Sperry Top-Sider Charleston Race Week, April 18-21, 2013. Angela Diaz-Vidaillet won the 3-night stay at Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina located on a private island 1.6 miles off the shores of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. The prize also includes dinner for two and a spa treatment. Congratulations Angela! Many thanks to all who participated in the contest.
